It uses fresh, hot air to roast coffee rather than a heated surface used by traditional barrel roasters. The result is a clean, uniform roast, that’s free of the bitter-tasting tars left behind in traditional roasters.

Here is video of roasting on a small scale, to show you the movement of beans during the introduction and continuous flow of fresh hot air. Take note of how the beans change color and pop during the process.
