Kaladi Kids
In honor of the new school year, Kaladi Brothers Coffee brewed up Kaladi Kids Day featuring free steamers/hot chocolate, an art contest and favorite teacher stories. Click Here to view all of the entries. Below are the winning entries.
ART CONTEST
This winning entry entitled "Blue Beauty, cousin to the Red Goat" was submitted by Madeleine McCormack who is in the fourth grade at Aquarian Charter School. Good job Madeleine, you are very talented. Thanks for participating in Kaladi Kids Day!
TEACHER STORY
Kaladi Brothers Coffee was impressed with all of the favorite teacher stories. Judging by the stories, there are some pretty incredible teachers out there! Our favorite is from Audrey Westin, who
is in Kindergarten at Huffman Elementary. Audrey's mother asked her about a favorite teacher story. This was her response:
"Mommy, Ms. Winsor can't be my teacher because she is too small." Audrey's mother explained that Ms. Winsor is just petite. Audrey responded, "maybe I could give her my old Danskos."
In addition, Kaladi Brothers Coffee offered free steamers or hot chocolate on Kaladi Kids Day, September 12. It was a hit! One of the employees at the Southside Kaladi Brothers Cafe said she "has never made so many hot chocolates." Thank you all for participating! Our cause is to be a Catalyst for Community and more importantly, to have fun.
