Side Notes: Guatemalan coffees generally produce a peppery, earthy tasting coffee. Their beans to start are large, bluish, with a shine to them. Although coffee was introduced to the country by Jesuits in 1750, the cultivation was developed by the Germans who immigrated their after 1860.

Cupping Notes: Strictly hard beans are considered the best in the world: complete, full-bodied taste, acid, and fragrant cup.
